This policy covers the Dayvant iOS app ("the app"). The app is provided by Sascha Kaiser ("we", "the developer"). By using the app you agree to this policy.
Everything you create in Dayvant — your tasks, time estimates, energy labels, schedule and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not receive a copy of it.
If you are signed in to iCloud, Dayvant keeps your tasks in sync across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit, in the private database of your own iCloud account. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to it and operates no server of its own. If you sign out of iCloud or disable it for Dayvant, syncing stops.
With your permission, Dayvant reads your calendar events to show them alongside your tasks and to estimate how full your day is. This happens entirely on your device. Calendar data is read-only, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is not stored outside of iOS. You choose which calendars count toward your day in Settings, and you can revoke calendar access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
Dayvant offers a paid unlock and a free trial. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details. Trial state is kept locally on your device.
If you enable the daily review reminder, Dayvant schedules a local notification on your device. No push servers are involved and no data leaves your device for this feature.
Dayvant is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
